What is this web site?ModernMorph.com is my (Toby, a.k.a. ToeBee) personal website. It started as a place for me to share my Yahoo messenger 6/7 skins, but has grown into a small community of artist sharing there works.
MySpace counters/countdowns is a little project of mine. After I made my div layout for my MySpace layout, I got alot of messages asking where to get counters/countdowns like what I had. So I threw this mini site together.
What is a hit counter?A hit counter will count how many times a page/profile has been viewed, then it is displayed as a small image. For example this page has been viewed 1 times. If you refresh this page it will add to the count.
What is a countdown counter/timer?A countdown counter/timer will get the current date and countdown the difference to a predetermined date. Then display it on a small image. For example there is My birthday of 2007 has past. Just refresh the page to update it.
Who can join MySpace counters/countdowns?Anyone can join as long as you have a MySpace account, because you will need a MySpace I.D. number to use the counters/countdowns.
What is a MySpace I.D.?A MySpace I.D. is a unique I.D. givin to every MySpace member. To get your I.D. login to your MySpace account and go to your home page. From there click on your profile link. Then look in the address bar at the url. It will look something like this http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendid=14721325, the MySpace I.D. is the numbers at the end of url. So that I.D. is 14721325
Why should I join MySpace counters/countdowns?The only reason I require registration is to give you the user more options. This way you can always come back and make changes on the fly to your counters/countdowns. Also if theres something new or updated I can let you all know quickly and easly. Where/How do I change my password and create/edit my counters/countdowns?Once you are logged in you can navigate to the settings page. From there you can change your password and create/edit your counters/countdowns.
Can I have more then one MySpace Counter account?You can only have have one hit counter/countdown counter per account. You can have more than one account but you will need to use a seperate email address and MySpace I.D.
How do these MySpace counters/countdowns work?The counters/countdowns use a combination of PHP, htaccess, and MySql. To gather the data needed and generate a image.
My counter/countdown image says "BANNED" why?Most likely this is because you have altered the counter code, removing the link back to this site. If you fix the code and contact me with your username I will unban the account.
