This tutorial was derived from Toby's Paint Shop Pro 9 Easy Glossy Text tutorial. It was made using Macromedia Fireworks 8, and shows the steps needed to create some glossy text.

Step 01.

Direct Link

Create a 700 x 100 document. Write the words you would like to gloss fairly largely. On the color of the text, select text options and the set the options as shown.

Use the fill tool, that looks like the paintbucket, and drag it from the top of the text area to the bottom. You should get text that looks as shown.
