Create an amazing realistic starfield with Paint Shop Pro. There are alot of great things to learn from this tutorial, give it a try and show me what you came up with.

So now you have a basic starfield, but this is very boring so lets spice it up a bit. At this point I would recommend saving your work as a .pspimage. The next few steps may take a few times to get your desired effect. Select your eraser and start erasing parts of both the "large stars" and "small stars" layers. There is no wrong or right way to do this. Be as random as possible and use an eraser brush with crisp edges as you dont want half erased stars. Also you should see less large stars than small ones so really destroy the "large stars" layer.
