We are going to create a fade effect for the speaker edges. Since we lowered the opacity of the speaker layer we can't float it anymore to regain the selection shape. So we will just make a solid color layer of the speaker selection shape that we will delete later. With the speaker layer still selected create a new layer and flood fill it with any solid color.
