Create a realistic metallic content box for your website in just minutes using Paint Shop Pro 9. I tried to make this tutorial as clear as possible. If you have any suggestions please let me know.

Step 07.

Create a new layer. Layers > New Raster Layer. Now grab the "Rectangle Selection Tool" again. Make a slightly smaller selection near the bottom of the content box. Flood fill this with a light gray. I used #C0C0C0. Then like before, Selections > Select None. Then Adjust > Blur > Glausian Blur This time set the Glausian Blur radius to 15.

Go ahead and do the same bit with the "Eraser tool" again to. Select the layer that you flood filled with the "Gray" gradient. Then Selections > Select All back to Selections > Float then again Selections > Invert. Now select the layer you just blurred. Grab your "Eraser Tool" again and start dragging your eraser all around the area we just blurred.
