Create a realistic metallic content box for your website in just minutes using Paint Shop Pro 9. I tried to make this tutorial as clear as possible. If you have any suggestions please let me know.
Step 11.
Set your foreground color to black. Flood fill the selection with the "Fading foreground" gradient, making sure the angle is set to 180. Then knock the opacity of the layer down to 70.
With the same selection still active, create a new layer. Layers > New Raster Layer. Flood fill this layer with the "Fading white" gradient, angle set to 180. Lower the opacity of the layer down to 40.
Again with the same selection still active, create a new layer. Layers > New Raster Layer. Then Selections > Modify > Contract. Set the number of pixels to 5. Now flood fill this layer with black.
